Nefertiti neck lift
Your Nefertiti neck lift at Barstable Medical Clinic
The Nefertiti neck lift is a procedure in which Botulinum Toxin injections are administered to neck and jawline to tighten and lift sagging skin. It’s named after the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, who was widely admired for her long, elegant neck and tight jawline.

About Nefertiti Neck Lift
The use of anti wrinkle injections in the neck and jawline area causes the platysma bands (the thickened neck muscles that become more obvious as we age) to relax and therefore allows the opposing lower face muscles to tighten and create a ‘neck lift’.
You can choose either to have a half or ‘Front’ neck or the ‘Full’ neck lift depending on the degree of skin sagging and the extent of lift you require.
Results take up to 2-3 weeks to take effect and last for approximately 3-4 months, when the treatment could then be repeated, much like facial anti wrinkle injections.
Generally with each repeat treatment, the interval between will become longer, so that many people soon only require Nefertiti neck lift once every 6 months.
Frequently asked questions
At Barstable Medical Clinic, you will have a numbing cream administered to the neck and jawline area prior to the procedure to ensure maximum comfort. The treatment itself then involves a series of small injections to the superficial skin of the neck and most patients only experience very minimal discomfort, if any at all.
When you attend for your free consultation with our experienced medical team, we will carry out a full examination of your neck and jawline and advise as to whether or not we feel this treatment will be of benefit to you.
Not all patients will be deemed good candiates for this treatment, and so if we examine you and feel it is not right for you, please don’t be offended. We will offer you guidance on alternative neck treatments such as Profhilo, which might work for you.
